On January 21, 2014, she was baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist Church and joined the Shekinah SDA Church family in Allentown, PA where she served as a deaconess until her passing.
She was the oldest of six (6) children. She was preceded in death by her parents: Anacreon and Lovana Jean; sisters: Audette Jean, Gertha Jean and Margarette Jean; brother: Danère Jean; and her eldest daughter: Roodislande Boubert. To know her was to love her. She was a friend to all. Her door was always open, and though she didn't have much, she was always willing to share it with others. She touched many with her love, kindness and ready smile and laughter. Her impact on our lives can never be forgotten.
