I'd like to express my deepest condolences to my cousin "Pooky" and the other family members . I'm so sorry to hear of Sonny's death. It is never easy to accept the death of anyone, especially a loved one. Even though they're in a deep sleep, and not conscious of anything, according to the Bible at Ecclesiastes 9:5,10; However, we can take comfort in that he's no longer suffering and awaiting a resurrection according to Jesus words at John 5:28-30 that "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". These are such wonderful prospects, to know God has purposed to restore Sonny's life in paradisaic conditons. when God transforms the earth according to his original purpose. Then we could appreciate God's will being done here on earth, as it is in heaven. Life will present it's challenges, living without his presence. However, learning about the Kingdom Hope and entertaining God's future promises where he says he will eliminate death, sickness and pain forever is so comforting.. So remember if you draw close to God, he will draw close to you James 4:8 And most of all he is near to those that are broken at heart and crushed in spirit. psalms 34:18. Again, so sorry for your loss and take care!
