My favorite memories of Jackie Boyd aka Jack Rabbit aka the Green Eyed Bandit aka Dad is when I met him for the 1st time I seen those green eyes: as he tells it: ladies love it.
Behind those green eyes told a story of a man who picked me up with confusion but compassion and unconditional love. He gave me a kiss and said Babygirl I'm your Daddy. When he said those words he said it a certainty that would last forever. He never abandoned me. And I never abandoned you. Thank you for showing up to my play(even though I had 3 lines) and 8th grade graduation.I didnt think you would show but you didnt let me down. You always search for me and never gave up.The hardest day was when I seen you crying and upset And it broke me to pieces and this will be the 2nd.
