Obituary of Floris Jacobs

Celebrating The Life of Floris Jacobs Floris Jacobs was born in Forest Reserve fyzabad Trinidad on September 6th 1937. To the late Rosa Grenidge and Edward Gittens, she returned to her maker on April 15th 2020. At 6:58 am in her home. Floris Jacobs grew up and received her education in port-of-spain Trinidad. She became a devout Jehovah Witness in 1968 until her death.Floris matured got married to her surviving husband Thomas Jacobs and raised a family of her own in Belmont Trinidad before moving to the United States in 1977. In addition to raising her family, she became a loving daycare provider, she did it with so much love and compassion. Floris had another passion and that was icing cakes, every wedding, birthdays, holidays, parties you name it she did it, everyone knew that when you wanted a cake iced you called on her to do it, her work was known well in the community in which she lived. Another thing she did well was to cook, she made everything from scratch even French fries and pancakes. She was well loved and respected by her family and the members of her community, she will truly be missed. Floris Jacobs left behind her husband Thomas Jacobs, two daughters Hyacinth and avanell.Grandchildren Diana, dreadra, E.J. , Janique,Cleopatra, Shagari, Malaipeng, Balki, Andrea and Trey. Great grandchildren: Thaddeus, Cameron and Zaire. Two sisters Evelyn and Cynthia and a brother Ulric. Neices Kathleen, Zenia and Jennifer. Nephews: The L ate Jerry Keith, Akida, Ronnie, Roland, Nigel, Jared, Torrey and Luke and a host of cousins and friends. We will miss you Aunty Floris as she is lovingly called.
