I just wanted to offer my deepest condolences to the family of Rashetta. It broke my heart to hear this news. I went to school with her at PCTI, and I remember her as being such a sweet young woman to me. Always making sure to say hi and chat for a minute or two whenever she'd happen to see me in the hallway or if we had class together. My heart really aches for her family. I want you all to know that you are all truly in my prayers. I have experienced a great deal of death in my family over the last few years. And I want to share with you something that gives me hope and encouragement. Reading the Bible, particularly John 5:28 and Revelation 21:3,4. Those scriptures give us the hope of never experiencing the death of loved ones ever again in the near future. And right here on earth too! That's one of the beautiful blessings that we will get to enjoy as a result of Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. I hope those scriptures give you the comfort they gave me (and still give me today). Once again, I'm so very, very, very sorry for your loss. Rashetta will most definitely be missed!

Shay, I wished I hugged you longer on Friday. My selfish self can't accept this and I'm still hoping to see you like we planned at your house warming get together with Kaila. I wish now that I had stayed longer that night and continued to laugh with you and the girls. Such a beautiful soul gone too soon. May you rest easy, beautiful.
