WORLD GOSPEL MUSICAL ASSOCIATION (WGMA) To Mother Joyce P. Jackson & the members of the New Vision Full Gospel Baptist Church, We are shocked and saddened to hear the news about the death of your son and bishop; Bishop Andre L. Jackson. We would like to convey my deepest sympathy to you and your families. Bishop Jackson's dedication and service to the kingdom of God shall never be forgotten. We know how difficult this must be for you and your family. But God is able to carry you through whatever comes your way. We submit this poem with the hope that it will comfort you and your family. God looked around His Garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon His earth and saw your loving face. He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. His Garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering; He knew you were in pain. And knew that you would never get well on earth again, He saw your path was difficult; He closed your tired eyes, He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly. When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain, We would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again. You've left us precious memories; your love will be our guide, You live on through your children; you're always by our side. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. It is with a heavy heart that I write these words of sincere condolence and sympathy for our beloved Bishop. You had a spiritual impact on me and my family, especially my husband. Because of you I know he is a better man and he will continue to grow. To the Jackson family, New Vision Full Gospel Baptist Church family, and the host of close relatives and friends, Thank God for Bishop Andre L. Jackson, a true man of God, highly favored and loved. He lived a life giving and sharing love to everyone. He was an eloquent and articulate speaker and teacher whom made God's scriptures plain for all to have an understanding of just how great God is. His praise and worship exemplified through his favorite song "Great is Thy Faithfulness." Bishop's love for the Lord was real and those of us under his teaching knew it in your soul. To Jackson Family and New Vision It is with condolences and sympathy to family and church family. This man of God is now resting in the arms of God, he already praising his name in heaven.
