To the Fields Family, it is with a heavy heart that I say, i'm sorry for the great loss of a wonderful lady and loved one, and pray that the presence of The Holy Spirit grants you comfort. If ever there was a kind, loving, warm, funny, and genuinely sweet person, it was Mrs. Shirley Fields. I consider her a family member who I looked forward to spending time with at family gatherings as her smile brightened the room and lifted our spirits. I praise GOD for the blessing of her life, love, and spirit. I love you. Forever in my heart ❤️. Until we meet again...

Mrs Fields has a warmth and loving spirit and I'll always remember when my brothers and I visited coach Allen Fields decades ago. Altho it's my brothers who are closely bonded to them, they're presence saturated my life as well. Here's to Shirley Fields alive and well in a place not made by man.
Peace Perfect Peace

Dear Fields family
Willie and I are deeply saddened by the home going of our dearest friend. I remember her strong sense of humor, telling stories that always made us laugh. Her sense of compassion and caring as she helped manage the affairs of family members. She was a generous, smart and loving person. When I needed to observe a self-contained classroom to complete my externship in School Psychology, she invited me to one of her schools. She was an excellent cook, serving large family dinners during holidays. We used to compete for who was the first family to deliver their Christmas gifts. We enjoyed concerts at the NJ PAC and walks in Brookdale park. She was such a good person and wonderful friend. Shirley loved people, especially children. She helped so many through her work. I miss her very much. But I know that someday we'll get together again. May God bless and comfort each of you
With love
