It is with great sadness that another friend and brother is no longer with us. I will always remember the laughter when hanging out as adults, you proudly and embarrassing told people that you used to babysit me. My prayer is that Ms. Juanita and family continue to hold your head up high, and be strong and mighty in the Lord. Love always. Andrea

I am still trying to process the fact that "My Mel" is gone....There are so many fond memories that you left me with that i will cherish forever. I loved you in this life and i will love you in the next.Until we meet again may you continue to take your rest...To Ms Juanita and the family, my love, prayers and condolences are with you always..Melvin will forever hold a place in my heart, he was 'My Mel" and i was always "His Sweetness".
